It was 1989 when the legendary Moscow Art Theatre was last seen at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 30 years later, in 2019, 14 young actors from the company brought their production Forest – a physical theatre where Konstantin Stanislavsky meets Polly Higgins, where the Russian theatre giant ‘embraces’ Scottish ecocide lawyer with their only client: our forests! The production was highly recommended by our Friends of Pskov members who also took pride in producers’ Adam and Margaret Cox sourcing Perthshire timber for the set.
